THE HCA INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION was created in 2005 as part of HCA's commitment to the care and improvement of human life by delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare in the communities it serves.
The Foundation is a charity dedicated to furthering these aims by supporting and promoting medical research and education.
THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
In 2006 the Foundation announced the creation of a Travelling Scholarship programme to support individuals who wish to improve their medical knowledge and technical skills by studying in the UK and abroad.
Scholarships were advertised in September 2006 and applications were received from a number of high-quality candidates. Awards were made to 6 people chosen from amongst these applicants.
