The deadline has now passed for applications for the 2012 Travelling Scholarship. Please check again in June 2012 to apply for the 2013 scholarship.

The selection process works like this:

Stage 1

Candidates must submit an online application form (click on Applications on the menu above) and a CV.

Candidates must also provide:

  • a letter from someone in a senior position in your current institution confirming that they are willing to release you from your position while you study and that they support your initiative.
  • a statement from the institution where the study is proposed confirming that they are fully prepared to receive and train you.

These should be submitted by post.

Stage 2

From the applications received a number of outstanding candidates will be chosen by the Selection Board. They will be asked to provide a reference from someone suitably qualified who knows them and their work.

Stage 3

A further selection process will take place and those chosen will be asked to attend a face-to-face interview with members of the Selection Board.

Stage 4

The final choice will be made and the offers sent.
